Wouldn't it be loverly?

My Farmor

Here's a bit of a history lesson to start off with:

In Norway, a grandparent's name is usually given by relation to the grandchild. So then, my norwegian grandma, Esther (Bjørn's mom) name is Farmor, far meaning "father" and mor meaning "mother." Thus farmor, "father's mother."

My farmor came to visit me this week. Here is a picture of us together.

Ada & Esther

She gave me a bath, changed my diaper, and held me for 6 hours. Isn't she great?!

6 hours?! Whew! Gotta love your Farmor... or what we call "Mimi" in the South. Really adorable picture. Ada is looking more like you (Jenny) when you were a baby.

I know! Tell Bjørn that. Esp. in this picture, I feel like she really looks like me. In general, I think she's actually half Baby Bjørn, half me.
