OH and btw, 12 days until the due date. Though, I am persuading myself it is 19 days until the date, so then it will be a pleasant surprise if the baby comes earlier than that!
Bjørn just officially felt the baby kick for the first time and he was giddy. Ya know, his little laugh. He actually waited to feel it twice to believe it was true.
p.s. I am setting up my baby registry. CANNOT wait! Oh and tonight marks the 5th comment I've received in the last week from people at work saying, "Wow, you're like really pregnant!" My favorite comment was one of the 5-year olds in my small group told me 3 times today that my baby is HUGE and my belly is really huge. ...
Read more...Bjørn received a phone call today from GLC (Global Learning Connections) on TWU campus, saying that I had failed a course. Apparently, this fall I failed Pysc 331...
TWU offers its employees and their families one free course per semester. Bjørn had gone in to Human Resources in the summer to get me approved for a fall course at TWU's Bellingham campus. I guess the HR people told him to choose a specific course, even if I wouldn't be taking that course. So Bjørn chose Pysc 331. ...
Read more...Bjørn and I have been debating about when I should go on maternity leave, due to the nature of my job - chasing little kids around all day- and whether 3 weeks before the due date is enough time.
Well, thanks to all of the snow days (3) and now the past 2 days of flooding (I guess the levy broke in Everson - I didn't even know Everson HAD a levy!), there is a whole week of preschool to make up at the end of the year. BUT, I won't be here, cuz I'll have a baby...thus it is like having an extra week of maternity leave! Except even better, because I got a break during the middle of the year, when I was feeling worn out!
