Well, I can't believe we're finally doing it, but Bjørn and I are going away for the weekend, WITHOUT Adalweiss. What's even harder to believe for me, is that we are leaving her with gasp Farfar and Farmor - WHAT was I thinking?! At least it's not her crazy Great aunts and uncles! Just kidding. Ada will have a great weekend on the Eide compound with lots of family surrounding her! I did wind up coming up with my own caption for the following picture. Something like:

"Mom, Dad, Don't leave me with them! You have no idea how crazy they are!" ...

why they call it the "Jolly Jumper." Work it out Ada!

I need a good title/caption for this photo. Any ideas?

Thanksgiving weekend, we played a few rousing rounds of Scattegories. Bjørn's family has a tendency to get pretty creative, and this game was no exception. One of items we had to fill out was "ways to get from here to there" which included such entries as "poetry." This became the joke of the weekend.

Ada decided she was ready to get in on the Eide Family joking, and would like to add "army crawl" to the list of "ways to get from here to there" - that is assuming the letter was A, her favorite letter of all!...
