Friday, Ada and I got to take part in one of Esther's annual treks, the Lavender fields in Sequim, WA. Every year they have a festival in the middle of July. We went before the festival, so we saw the town bustling in preparation. My favorite farm was Purple Haze.

Read more...2 weeks ago Ada and I headed down to the Greater Puget Sound to take part in several different events. Wednesday, we attended the "Fort Romance Roommate Reunion" with Jana and Julie in Jana's hometown, Poulsbo, WA. It was a celebration of Julie coming home from teaching ESL in Korea for a year with her hubby, Dan and a send off for Jana, who's headed to India for a year with International Justice Mission tomorrow.
